“a bruised reed he will not break,
and a smoldering wick he will not quench,” Matthew 12:12

Sin had left me as nothing.
I was bruised and broken
With nothing good left to give,
But Christ in His compassion
Kept me alive and revived me.

My faith was at the end of its wick
I was fearful to come to Christ.
Satan’s lies comdemned and discouraged,
But Christ truth reassured me of His mercy,
As my sin increased, grace increased all the more.

  1. Thanks for the post. I’m so thankful we don’t serve an “I Got You” type of God. He’s not out to destroy or harm us. He has our best interest at heart. He has plans to prosperous and bring us to an expected end.

Looking at Matthew 12:12–as I strive to be Christ-like I commit to be careful in my dealings with others. The verse shows how Christ handles vunerable people. It’s really important to remember his mercy and grace.

  2. Condemnation, Condemnation! As I rise from my bed again a failure I ask God To forgive my sin again. Weeping I said I know I’m going to Hell.. Fornication-Condemnation. As I walked shamed to my living room God told me to eat a apple. He revealed to me that I will conceive. All I kept hearing was condemnation, condemnation. I went to Google to define the word and this truth brought me to my knees, everything that was brought to me and meant for harm God through my Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ shows me that He keeps his Promises to those that Faithfully Serve Him. AS MY SIN INCREASED HIS GRACE INCREASED ALL THE MORE. THANK YOU FOR WRITING AS GOD SHARED WITH YOU HOW HE MANIFESTS HIS WILL.
