Helping Orphans in Haiti

Last year, for my 30th birthday I ran in the Frederick Half Marathon. This was a great way for me to celebrate and also be an example to my family of living a healthy life style. In October I completed the Baltimore Marathon and ran on a charity team to help raise money for
families with children who have cancer. One of my goals is to yearly run a race for charity to support those that are less fortunate.

This spring I am running the Frederick Half Marathon again, but this time a charity runner on the team “For His Glory Adoption Outreach.” I will be raising money to purchase food for the orphans of Port-Au-Prince, Haiti. As you know Haiti was hit by a tragic earthquake in 2010, and is still recovering.

For His Glory Adoption Outreach is the US outreach for the orphanage and is dedicated to finding families to adopt the orphans of Maison des Enfants de Dieu. For more information go

A friend of mine once said, “Many people mistake Anti-Abortion for Pro-Life. Pro-Life requires action of mentoring teens, adopting, investing in foster care, and biblical fatherhood. Anti-abortion simply requires passive hatred, there is redemption and purpose in Pro-Life!” Right now I am not in a position to adopt, but by supporting For His Glory Adoption Outreach I am able to support an orphanage and I’d like to ask you to come along side me and help me make a difference in the life of a Haitian orphan.
